LIMOS Alumna Ria Kontou accepted faculty position at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign

Eleft­he­ria (Ria) Kon­tou (UF CE PhD, Decem­ber 2016) will start as an Assis­tant Pro­fes­sor at the Depart­ment of Civ­il and Envi­ron­men­tal Engi­neer­ing at the Uni­ver­si­ty of Illi­nois at Urbana-Cham­paign. Her appoint­ment will begin on Octo­ber 16, 2019. Dr. Kon­tou will be part of the Trans­porta­tion Sys­tems Engi­neer­ing fac­ul­ty group and con­tribute to the Sus­tain­able and Resilient Infra­struc­ture Sys­tems Program.
