In response to the pan­dem­ic, the ISTDM 2020 was post­poned to June 21–23, 2021. We will hold the con­fer­ence as planned, in a for­mat of either in-per­son, vir­tu­al or hybrid.  More infor­ma­tion will be pro­vid­ed on the con­fer­ence web­site when the time is approaching.

We are now call­ing for sub­mis­sions to the 2021 Inter­na­tion­al Sym­po­sium on Trans­porta­tion Data and Mod­el­ing (ISTDM) on June 21–23, 2021 in Ann Arbor, Michi­gan. ISTDM 2021 aims to gath­er trans­porta­tion researchers and prac­ti­tion­ers across the globe for explor­ing the fron­tiers of big data, mod­el­ing and sim­u­la­tion to advance trans­porta­tion research to sup­port the con­nect­ed, coop­er­a­tive and auto­mat­ed mobil­i­ty. With a greater focus on emerg­ing tech­nolo­gies, ISTDM 2021 rebrands the two long-stand­ing trans­porta­tion sym­posia: Inter­na­tion­al Sym­po­sium of Trans­port Sim­u­la­tion (ISTS), and the Inter­na­tion­al Work­shop on Traf­fic Data Col­lec­tion and its Stan­dard­iza­tion (IWTDCS).

We would like to invite you to par­tic­i­pate in this excit­ing event. To present at the con­fer­ence, an extend­ed abstract (1,000 words) should be sub­mit­ted elec­tron­i­cal­ly via the con­fer­ence web­site (the sub­mis­sion web­site will be open Octo­ber 1). The pre­vi­ous­ly accept­ed sub­mis­sions will be valid pend­ing the authors’ con­fir­ma­tion. Dur­ing the three-day con­fer­ence, ple­nary ses­sions fea­tur­ing renowned speak­ers and inter­ac­tive break­out ses­sions will take place.
