Call for submissions.

We are now calling for submissions to the 25th International Symposium on Transportation and Traffic Theory (ISTTT25), which will be held July 15–17, 2024 in Ann Arbor, Michigan, United States.

Given the high standards of the ISTTT series, only 36 papers will be selected for podium presentation and a maximum of 24 papers will be selected for poster presentation. Special issues at Transportation Research Part B: Methodological, Transportation Research Part C: Emerging Technologies, and Transportation Science have been planned for ISTTT25. As per previous ISTTTs, we expect all papers accepted by ISTTT25 to be published in these three special issues.

To present a paper at ISTTT25, an extended abstract (2000–3000 words) should be submitted electronically in PDF format at EasyChair for the conference by December 10, 2022* for the first-round review.
* EXTENDED DEADLINE IN RESPONSE TO SOME REQUESTS.

ISTTT25 Proceedings templates.

The ISTTT25 Proceedings templates are designed to ensure a uniform format for all conference proceedings. These templates include helpful text to guide you through composing and formatting your conference papers. Remember to remove all guidance text from your conference paper before submitting it to the conference.

Guidelines for the full paper submission.

Guidelines for the extended abstract.

  • The extended abstract should be between 2000 and 3000 words, with all the supporting figures and tables appropriately positioned in the main body of the abstract. The authors are encouraged to use the Word or LaTeX templates for preparing the extended abstract.

  • The extended abstract should convey the research motivation, define the research problem, introduce the proposed method or solution, and sketch the expected results.

  • While the research is not expected to be finished by the time of submission, the extended abstract should provide sufficient details regarding research highlights and methodological developments to allow for peer assessment. Given the relatively short period for subsequent full-paper preparations, the remaining work should reflect a reasonable task load that can be completed within seven months.

  • There are no specific requirements for the structure of the extended abstract. The authors own the full flexibility to tailor the abstract in a way that best delivers the merits of their research.
